The Locanda di Palazzo Cicala, hotel  is glad to present the perfect sojourn, dedicated to culture with Otto Hofmann and the Bauhaus tradition, on show at Palazzo Ducale from 16/10/09 to 14/02/10. 

The Palazzo Ducale is currently hosting a large exhibition about Otto Hofmann (1907-1996), one the main artists belonging to the Bauhaus school. Within these magnificent rooms, perfectly chosen for the occasion, you will be wandering among the 400 works which are on show, ranging from paintings to pictures, from ceramics to xilograpics, from original papers to picture note-books by Hofmann with lectures by Kandinkij e Klee between 1928 and 1930.

This exhibition, ideated and taken care of by Giovanni Battista Martini, offers not only the perfect chance to study the Bauhaus and the 19^th-century artistic avant-gardes at a deeper level but also a route along which personal events of the author's life get inter-twinned with the 19^th-centurty historical events.
